Do you like Twilight or do you hate it?

I mean, seriously, if i wanted to read about Vampires, i would read the original Nosferatu series that came in 1800. Or i would read Hellsing. Twilight is just the writer's excuse for biting disco balls. Literally. Who cares to object?

First off, vampires don't burn in the sun, they sure as fuck don't shimmer, or are sparkly..

I hate twilight.. Just totally hate it.. Movies Sucked, books were... Well, semi-crappy.. And a note to anyone who has any remarks for my opinion, If you dare question me on why I hate it. You're lycans, Vampires and other crap in the twilight saga, are not even the least bit realistically true, also, none of the actors were hot, so drool buckets somewhere else. Cuz they are just pointless.. I hate that everyone's going nuts over a gay vampire, a gay lycan, and some random slut who got to sleep with both of them backstage.

Ehh, the writer kinda screw'd the whole vampire idea. I mean true vampire stories would be the obvious Dracula by Bram Stoker, and the Ann Rice books (lolawesome), and yeah, she just sort of ruined it I guess...Like made it boring. XD plus absolutely /terrible/ writting. I mean come on, people keep going "Oh it sucks but still she's a great writer", it just ain't so :C.

I'm sick of Twilight because

1) Because Twilight was my favourite word before this came out
2) Because the book was better
3) Because it's taken over my friend's life.
4) It's encouraged stupid people to read, which gives them more words to mispronounce & misspell.
5) The soundtrack was so, so good compared to the film.
6) The vampire story I WAS writing is now redundant
7) Vampires will never have the same pride again.

When something gets so much hype, down to the point that you just can't go anywhere without having to look, hear or having related to Twilight, it gets on your nerves. I don't mind reading, I don't mind watching it, I just hate the stupid fanbase that just exagerate it, calling it "the best vampire romance novel ever created in the history of everything/interwebz". It's annoying, tiring and tedious.

I'm glad, however, with only two movies left to release, maybe the Twilight saga will finally shut it's mouth and rest quietly in history... that is, of course, if the producers, being the money hungry losers they are, decide to publish even MOAR Twilight goodies for the vampire-craving girls that spend loads of money on any and EVERY Twilight merchandise available. All in all, it just annoys me for it's fanbase. If only the so-called "fans" wouldn't make such a ridiculously big deal about it, maybe most people wouldn't find it as annoying and stupid as it does now... scratch that, Twilight's stupid either way.

So I am a huge fan of the books they are awesome
But the totally butchered it with the movies
I only watch the movies because I want to see what they have done next
But I won't admit that to Harry Potter fans because they just like to Judge...

Anyways thats my take but hey what is this Vampire chronicles I hear about is it any good prehaps a must read on your list?
