I voted JPop primarily because I've been listening to it longer and am more familiar with the genre. I do love KPop, though; I just don't know as many awesome songs.

I don't know K-Pop as well. I've listened to Japanese music and watching subbed anime for years, so I'm actually to the point of being able to understand and pick up on some words~

Though personaly I think Jpop due topersonal prefference. Though I'm not sure about kpop but I know for a fact that in itunes, if you have a song with the genre as jpop, j pop or j-pop there is a graphic for it in the genre section. I do not know if that effects kpop but based on that I think jpop is more known. Though if you guys were to recommend some kpop I would glady listen and give a better opinion.

I've only heard about one song in KPop, so my opinion is pretty heavily biased. Like reshind said, it's mostly personal preference for me~ ^-^'

I've got a bunch of k-pop, if anyone wants me to upload some, I can. I love J-Pop too, it was also the first I got into but check out some of these groups/artists and give them a chance! They've got some super catchy stuff.

Wonder Girls, 2NE1, Big Bang, TRAX,4-Minute, Sistar, Brown Eyed Girls, JYJ, DBSK, Super Junior, G-Dragon, Son Dam Bi, T.O.P., SS501, Narsha...etc.

I love Kpop more than Jpop :P I know most jpop songs from anime series. But i'm not that into watching anime anymore, I'm reading more manga atm.
You people should really check out some kpop groups :D
2PM, Super junior, Big Bang, SS501, SHINee etc etc etc.. :D
Most songs are really catchy! :D & The Music Vid's are AWESOME!
I wish I could dance like that D:
Oh well :P

What's the difference?
Kpop: big groups, cool dance moves, sync dancing :D
Jpop: more based on singing than dancing, smaller groups, songs are used for animes
